Delete Your Account

Close your Resellers Pro Tools account and permanently erase the information we hold about you. You do not need to reinstall the app to do this.

Three separate things — make sure you know which you want

Your account is your email address and password. That is what this page deletes.

Your Premium subscription is billed by Google, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel it — cancel it in Google Play first.

Your receipts, items and photos live on your phone and we have never held a copy. Deleting your account does not touch them — see records on your phone, or our data deletion page.

1. Cancel your subscription first

Do this before you delete the account. If you have a Premium subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it. Billing is handled by Google Play, so we cannot cancel it on your behalf, and if you delete the account without cancelling, Google may keep charging you.

Cancel in the Google Play Store app: tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Resellers Pro Tools → Cancel subscription.

You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds for a period already billed are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policy.

If you are inside a free trial, cancelling before it ends means you are never charged.

2. Delete your account

Either route erases the same information. The in-app route is immediate; the email route is handled by a person.

Option A — immediate

Delete it in the app

Open Resellers Pro Tools and make sure you are signed in. (The option only appears while you are signed in.)
Tap the Options tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap Account.
Below your email address and the Sign out button, tap Delete account (shown in red).
Read the summary, type your password, and tick I understand this cannot be undone.
Tap Delete my account, then tap Delete in the box that asks Delete your account? The account is erased straight away and you are signed out.

If you have an active Premium subscription, the same screen shows a Cancel my subscription in Google Play first link. Changed your mind? Tap Keep my account.

Option B — no app needed

Ask us by email

Write to us from the email address on the account, so we can confirm the request is really yours. The button below opens your email app with the message ready to send.

Or write to app@resellerspro.tools with the subject "Account deletion request" and include your account email address.

We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

3. What gets deleted

Closing your account permanently erases everything we hold that identifies you:

Your email address and the hash of your password.
Your account identifier, preferences and any signed-in sessions.
Your release-update email preference, and your address is dropped from that mailing list.
Your referral code, if you had one.

Your subscription records from Google Play are unlinked from you at the same moment, so nothing in them points to you any more. They are kept on afterwards only as anonymous transaction records, for the period set out in section 5 — Google requires a purchase to remain traceable while it can still be renewed, refunded or disputed.

This cannot be undone. We cannot restore a deleted account, and signing up again later creates an entirely new one with no connection to the old.

4. Records on your phone are separate

Resellers Pro Tools keeps your business records — receipts, items, costs, sale prices, mileage, write-offs, expenses and photos — on your device only. We have never held a copy, so there is nothing on our side to delete, and closing your account leaves them exactly where they are.

To erase them from the phone, do any of the following:

Delete records individually inside the app (for example, open a receipt and tap Delete receipt), or
Open Options → Account → Delete all data, which permanently removes every receipt and item from that phone, together with their photos and the mileage logged on them. Your settings and any business expenses are not part of this — delete expenses one by one under Options → Expenses, or use the next option, or
Uninstall the app, or clear its storage from your device settings. This removes everything the app keeps on the phone.

Export first if you might want the records later. Make a backup under Options → Backup & restore and save or share it somewhere off the phone, or use Export data (CSV) or, on Premium, Batch PDF export — before you delete anything. We hold no copy and cannot recover them.

Any copy held in Android's own backup belongs to your Google account and is managed from your Android backup settings, not by us. Files you exported, printed or shared elsewhere stay wherever you put them.

5. What we keep, and for how long

After a deletion, a limited amount of information remains briefly for security, accounting and legal reasons, as data protection law permits:

Subscription records from Google Play	Unlinked immediately; removed within 12 months of the subscription ending	Held while a purchase can still be renewed, refunded or disputed. They name no one once unlinked.
Referral records (Refer & earn)	Unlinked immediately; kept while the other person’s account is open	So the friend or referrer still sees their own history and yearly limit correctly. They name no one once unlinked.
Sign-in and security logs	Up to 90 days	Fraud prevention and account security. These expire automatically and are not deleted on request.
Encrypted database backups	Up to 30 days	Rolling backups expire on their own schedule and are not opened after a deletion except to recover from a failure.
Purchase and tax records	As the law requires	Transaction records we are obliged to keep. Google holds its own under its retention rules.
Support and privacy emails	Until the matter is resolved	Deleted afterwards, or sooner if you ask us in your request.
